A Lancashire caravan park is to get a £2 million cash injection after a multi-millionaire from Preston announced he will be renovating his caravan park.
Lancashire Evening Post reports that Fell End Caravan Park in Hale will be treated to a new swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gymnasium after owner John Morphet decided he wanted to make upgrades.
The caravan park will also have a new bar and restaurant with an al-fresco dining area in the woods.
The tycoon will take on five new staff members at the caravan park to cope with the development, the construction of which will take place later this year if planning permission is granted.
Mr Morphet said: “We work hard to attain a high level of quality at all our parks. To be able to invest quite substantially in such facilities for our guests shows our commitment to providing top class facilities for caravanning holidaymakers.”
Fell End is just one of the caravan parks that Mr Morphet owns in the UK.
