Five youngsters have been arrested in the Kent area after breaking into a caravan, which was sitting on its owner’s driveway.
A neighbour called the police, saying that four unfamiliar boys and a girl had emerged from the caravan in St John’s Avenue, Sittingbourne at around 9.35am, reports the Kent Messenger.
The five were later arrested on Rectory Road on suspicion of burglary and taken into custody at Sittingbourne police station for questioning.
The suspects are a 17-year-old girl from Sheerness, two 16-year-olds from Sittingbourne, a 15-year-old from Whitstable, and a 17-year-old with no fixed abode.
All the youngsters have been bailed until April 14th pending further enquiries, although it is not yet known what was stolen from the motorhome.
