Organisers of the National Boat, Caravan & Outdoor Show, Ocean, have just announced that the February 2008 event will be bigger and better than ever before.
The National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, will play host to the event, which promises more exhibitors, more choice and more exclusive product launches.
Caravanners can enjoy an extra hall, making the 48th event the largest in the history of the show, with five halls, and the biggest outdoor leisure show ever to take place at the NEC. Ocean will allow exhibitors 20 per cent more space, which will be dedicated to the main sectors; caravans, motorhomes, boats, park homes, holiday homes, tow cars, 4x4s, destinations and camping equipment.
In addition, the show will now take place over six days, opening from 10am to 6pm, February 19th to 24th next year and more than 650 companies will be exhibiting.
The extra hall means that Ocean has improved the layout of the show, with wider aisles for browsers. Leading manufacturers will also be able to take extra stand space so a greater range of the new 2008 models will be launched exclusively.
Richard White, Swift Group marketing director commented: “The new layout with wider aisles and more space makes it much easier for people to find what they are looking for and moves the show onto a new higher plain.
“We will be using the show for several exiting new product launches for both motorhomes and tourers and have increased our space to take full advantage of the new format.”
Dave Moran, managing director at Ocean added: “We are excited that we are able to offer visitors an even better show experience. A five-hall show will allow us to deliver an even greater choice of products from across the UK and Europe. We are delighted with the response from the industry and pleased that manufacturers will be launching new products exclusively at the show.”
Of course, while you may have your eye on a new caravan at the show, it is important to protect your current model with adequate caravan insurance.
For caravanners who are not local to Birmingham, insurance from Cover4Caravans is ideal, because if our customers suffer an insured loss away from home, we will cover the costs of recovering your caravan and will even pay for re-delivery once your caravan has been repaired.
