Storm damage is one of those things and with our English winter getting worse and worse every year these types of claims are inevitable.
When you have found out the caravan has been damaged you must advise your static caravan insurers to make a claim.

Please have your caravan insurance schedule to hand so you have your policy number ready.
You will then be asked brief details of the damage that has occurred.
You will then receive a claim form which you need to fill in and return to your static caravan insurance company.
You will be required to obtain 2 estimates for the damage which should be posted to ourselves or your caravan insurance company.
You may carry out temporary emergency repairs to prevent the caravan being damaged further and to be more secure (boarding up windows, fanlights, and skylights).
You will then receive confirmation from the caravan insurance company that the claim will be settled or that a loss adjuster will be appointed.
What you must not do is:
Dispose of any damaged items before the insurance company has inspected them.
