Caravan checklist
- Number plate – it is now a legal requirement to have a number plate on the back of your caravan.
- Caravan step
- Towing mirrors
- Containers for water and wastage
- Stabiliser
- Caravan leisure battery
- Wheel clamp and hitch lock
- Submersible pump – if you don’t have on board water containers
- Torch
- First aid kit – check all the contents are up to date and not expired
- Face masks (note that in some countries you will need a specific type of face mask)
- Hand sanitiser and disinfectant
- Fire extinguisher – dry powder between 600g and 1kg in capacity
- Smoke alarm and spare battery
- Gas bottles
- Spare bulbs
- Caravan jack
- Tool kit
- Mains electric hook up lead

- Fans – if its going to be hot
